You are looking for a 8 or 10" Mid, how much power are you supplying? Do you have an active crossover? I would highly reccomend getting one.

i will being using a clarion crossover and a clarion eq. i dont kno which one to send the signal into first.

eq then crossover.but the eq should already act as crossover..remember the more processing the more sq loss

the eq has a silver knob. not completely black.
im thinking of running an eq for each brand of speakers i use.
i want to use two different brands of speakers.
i feel i can bring out the best of each brand of speakers by using separate eq's to fine tune each brand to the best of thier ability
the crossover on the other hand i might just run for the bass.
any suggestions or comments?

Personally I don't think you would like a multi EQ setup. It would be clustered, and hard to keep right (if you are as picky as I am)
