There will be 3-4 MECA events in WA state, most of then are to be in Eastern WA and one possibly in Wenatchee or Yakima. The first Even is confirmed and the rest is in the "planning" stage so far. This info is from a local shop here is Spokane.

First event will be at the Spokane Auto, Boat, Speed show, March 26th - 28th 2010 and is listed on the MECA website and hosted by Snow's Auto.

If anyone wants some more info, I can help.

And the first competition was a success. The classes were disorganized. But I got the results I was looking for. The AudioControl mic was reading far incorrect, but compared to Term-Lab (which another competitor brought), The Audio Control was reading 7 dB high. Long story short, my score was 157 at the windshield (approx. 150 on TL) with a SINGLE AA15v4 and just over 2krms, on nearly stock electrical. This woofer has proven it's self to me and I will continue with the build of 2 15v4s and a lil more power ;)

Keep in mind, my enclosure is below the window line and a daily driver, yes, I play ALL music on it with this performance.

MECA competition in Fresno, CA yesterday! The competition was different, but fun! The mic is placed on passenger seat and raised 24" (about even with headrest) and 24" from windshield

We entered AS3 and did a 144.6dB and took first place :D with 2 12v3 and 200.1

A good friend of mine with 4 NFW69 6x9 subwoofers and 500rms did 135dB at 28Hz

Looking forward to summer and more competitions!

Holy crap! I am going to be running a few more than planned it they do that much. The mid bass in the Yukon will be a kick to the head

AS3 is the same class I was in, but I was put in with guys running over 10k rms too  and still placed :D

My 2nd 15v4 will make the difference once I put the pair on a 500.1, there will be no stopping me
